We are conveniently located in the historic downtown district of North Tonawanda just two blocks from the Erie Canal and midway between Buffalo and Niagara Falls.

Partners In Art was founded in 1995 by Glenna Sternin and Joan Horn, both accomplished artists. Their mission has always been to provide quality services to artists at reasonable prices. Intelligent growth has been the rule. It all began with the teaching studio from which grew the need for a place for emerging artists to exhibit their work and the Gallery was born. With no convenient art stores nearby it made sense to start selling art supplies and of course the next logical step was the Frame Shop so all that great work being produced in the Studios could be presented properly.
This growth occurred over several years and involved many retrofits to the real estate. The most recent change involved the purchase of 71 to 81 Webster Street which already housed the Art Supply Store and Frame Shop as well as the administrative offices. The new building will house the brand new studios with state of the art closed circuit television in both studios to provide instructors with additional tools for demonstrations. Wireless internet access linked to the monitors provides an additional tool for instructors. A complete façade renovation is planned in 2009 to restore the historic look of yesteryear to the exterior of the building.
We invite you to explore each of the elements of the complex to discover everything we have to offer you. Our Gallery has a full calendar with new shows monthly by mostly local artists. The Frame Shop is a full service shop with custom framing, matting services and plaque mounting. The Art Supply Store sells materials for oil, watercolor and acrylic painting as well as drawing materials including graphite, charcoals and pastels. The Studios at PIA offer a wide array of classes and workshops by local and national instructors.
